Victoria Geddes has spent the past 20 years as an investor relations consultant and is an owner and director of FIRST Advisers. Her interest in consulting to companies on their IR and broader strategic communications objectives arose out of a long and successful career in financial markets working as an equities analyst and Head of Research in both funds management and broking.

Victoria’s consulting experience spans a wide range of corporates from micro cap to top 100. Her research background and advisory roles have resulted in a portfolio of sector experience ranging from food, alcohol, retail, property, financials, healthcare and biotech companies to the mining, contracting, infrastructure, engineering and energy sectors. Her transactions experience over more than 30 years has enabled Victoria to bring a unique perspective to the communications work FIRST Advisers undertakes for its clients on IPOs, M&A, spin-offs and demergers.

Victoria has an MBA (AGSM), Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance and a BA with double major in Economics and English Literature. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), a Senior Fellow of Finsia (SFFin) and member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) in the USA.
